About matcha

matcha is a type of green tea made from tencha leaves that undergo a grinding and drying process. although matcha comes from the same plant as green tea, matcha is grown in a different way and as a result has a unique nutritional profile. The plants are covered with bamboo mats for most of the growing season, which increases the amount of chlorophyll in the leaves and gives them their characteristic light green color. Made from the youngest and freshest parts of the plant, the leaves are steamed to preserve their color and nutrients.

Taste and texture

How should it taste and what to look for?. There are many grades out there, from ceremonial to, grand crus, latte grade and culinary grade. We recommend choosing a ceremonial one as this is usually a higher quality matcha. for the matcha to be indicated as of the highest quality, it must have a fine texture and color. If the matcha of good quality is a vibrant green, almost luminous and almost light, then you can guarantee that it will taste good. When it comes to taste, you want to achieve a creamy and slightly sweet taste with a slight bitterness. For new matcha drinks, this can be unusual at first, but then turns into a fantastic taste discovery.

Health boost and enriched nutritional content

Matching has become the latest trend and the health hype is not without reason. Given matcha's rich nutritional boost and is now a superfood you don't want to miss out on. matcha is loaded with antioxidants and amino acids and rich in vitamin C, selenium, chromium, zinc, potassium and magnesium. Because matcha differs from other tea alternatives as it is more highly concentrated and nothing has been discarded, we get to take part in significantly healthier contents. Matcha also lowers cholesterol levels and lowers our blood sugar. It also keeps us at a balanced energy level, keeps us energized and reduces stress levels. Matcha, unlike coffee, has a significantly lower content of caffeine and is released more slowly and evenly due to L-thenai, which stabilizes our energy level throughout the day.
